FIELD ETIQUETTE
We want to keep our facility in the best condition possible and to ensure that each of our customers has an equally lovely experience when visiting us.
For us to achieve this, we kindly ask you to read our field etiquette guidelines below and adhere to them during your session.
We operate CCTV in the area and will ensure that only customers who follow our guidelines can make future bookings.
For further details, please see our Terms and Conditions.
Arrival Time
Please arrive at your allotted booking time and not long before. We only have one waiting bay available. Please also ensure that you do not park in front of the gate until the previous customer has departed. If the previous user stays past your start time and does not appear to be leaving, please call Emily on 07938 456212.
Leaving Time
Please ensure that you leave promptly when your session has finished. Begin to gather your dogs towards the end of your allotted time, not when your time has already finished. Your time slot includes the time it takes you to enter and leave the field. Sessions are scheduled back-to-back, so please respect the previous and next user’s time and bear in mind that their dogs may be reactive and need their own space.
Pick Up After Your Dog
Ensure that you clean up all dog poo and either take it home or dispose of in the dog poo bins provided. Anyone who is found to be leaving their dog’s poo in the field will be refused permission to book in the future.
Digging
Please do not allow your dogs to dig – it makes the field a dangerous place for other customers, and ruins the grass.
Excessive Barking
It’s a natural urge for your excited dog to be vocal, especially when they first get out of your vehicle. That said, persistent barking needs to be controlled due to us having livestock and other businesses running near the field.
Dog Health
Dogs should be adequately vaccinated and wormed. If your dog is showing any signs of illness do not use the field and be respectful of other pets and their owners.
We will not accept the use of electronic devices, prong collars or choke collars on our field. We will not tolerate any harsh handling of dogs, and if found to be doing so you will be banned from future use.
Wash Down Area and Water Tap
There is a wash down area and drinking bowls at the far side of the field. Please leave them as you found them after being used.
Use Purpose
Smoking, Vaping, BBQ’s & Fires ARE NOT permitted on site under any circumstance. The field is for the purpose of exercising your dog in a safe space. Please take any litter you have home with you.
Access to The Hired Field Only
There is a private circular dog walk which is visible from our dog walking field. We do not offer access to this dog walk, please keep your animals within the secure field that you have hired.
Security
You will be texted and emailed the gate padlock code one hour before your scheduled session. This code is changed regularly. Please do not share the code with anyone else. You must lock the gate after you leave your session and scramble the padlock code, even if the next person is waiting. This prevents people who have not paid for the field from using it and you have no way of knowing if they have a booking.
Parking
Please only park on the hardstanding (i.e., the gravelled areas) inside and outside the field. Do not park on the grass.
CCTV
Please be aware that CCTV is in operation to protect our customers and our property. We reserve the right to refuse permission or evict any person(s) from the premises.
Advance Bookings Only
All bookings must be paid for in advance – by card at the time of booking.
Report Damage Immediately
If you spot any damage on the field, particularly to the fencing, please call us immediately on 07938456212. We want to protect you and your dog from risk and harm, so please let us know about any problems straight away.
Toilet Facilities
We currently do not have access to any toilet facilities on site. Please be mindful of this before you leave to visit us.
